Who is GST father of INDIA (History of GST)

 Concept of GST was first introduced by Atal Bihari Vajpayee (leader of BJP) in 1999 in INDIA.

Then the GST again came into light in the period of 2006-2007 in a Union budget speech on 28th February 2006.

Finance Minister in his Budget speech said that GST should ne Introduced from 1st April,2010

But Finally GST got implemented on 1st July, 2017 by 122nd amendment bill.
