AADHAR AUTHENTICATION FOR EXISTING TAXPAYERS

 As we all know that the taxpayers wanting to opt for new or fresh GST Registration has to compulsorily get AADHAAR Verification done while registration by providing AADHAAR No or AADHAAR details or incase of NO AADHAAR by E-KYC process.

But the existing taxpayers are in trouble as what they have to do, whether they have to also get their verification done or not.

So here is the details for what the existing taxpayers has to do for their AADHAAR Verification.

First of all at the very present point of time AADHAAR verification for existing taxpayers is available at their portals and the existing taxpayers have to do nothing much but simply click on the POP UP MESSAGE that will appear instantly after logging in to the GST Portal.

After clicking on that POP UP MESSAGE (preview shown in below Image) a page will be displayed asking to choose one option out of

  • SEND AADHAAR AUTHENTICATION LINK
  • UPLOAD E-KYC DOCUMENTS



If you choose the option of REMIND ME LATER then the pop up message will be gone and you can proceed with your further services in GST portal, and if you choose the option of  YES, NAVIGATE TO MY POFILE then you will be taken to the page for authentication of AADHAAR and there you will be given above two options.

If you choose SEND AADHAAR AUTHENTICATION LINK then a drop down page will be opened showing details of your GSTIN and you will have to click on that box to get verification link. But may be tick box will not be allowed to click there then in that case you simply go to DASHBOARD - MY PROFILE - CHOOSE AADHAR AUTHENTICATION FROM SIDE BAR. Steps shown below:







Now check your mobile & Mail for the link and by clicking on that link get your AADHAAR verified.
If you do not get mail in your primary inbox then check in updates or spam sections for the mail and then click on the link and the page that will be displayed is shown below:



Click on consent & Enter your VID or AADHAAR and then click on VALIDATE. A OTP will be send on your registered mobile no and mail id, then insert that OTP and your Aadhaar authentication will be done.
